I  have been very fortunate to be active in the financial services industry for over 35 years in Atlantic Canada. I spent the first 20 years of my career working for a major financial institution as a corporate executor involved with the administration of many estates and as an investment advisor assisting with the investment management of some major pension funds. Recognizing that a large financial institution lacks the ability to provide independent and objective advice, I decided to leave the Bank to become an independent financial advisor. It is my duty and responsibility to deliver the best financial products and services available in the market place to my clients. These are products offered by most of the major Banks in Canada and various mutual fund companies.  I offer these services through Equity Associates Inc.  I am one of the partners of Equity Associates Inc and we are members in good standing with the Mutual Fund Dealers Association, just like the Banks. Equity Associates has over 2 billion dollars in assets under administration and close to 200 financial advisors in Canada.  I also offer a broad range of life insurance products as I am able to represent  many of Canada’s insurance companies. This allows me to shop for the best life insurance quotes for my clients.
